Call of the Mild

Dark Mild

ABV 3.6%

Traditional Mild. Light and easy to drink but with lots of flavour from Crystal and roast malts. Balanced refreshing finish.

Tom Paine’s Bones

Extra Pale Ale

ABV 3.8%

Brewed with extra pale Maris Otter and late hopped with Simcoe and dry hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe & Nectaron. The result is an easy drinking Pale brimming with the flavour and aroma of tropical fruits, stone fruits and citrus zest.

Hale Pale

Pale Ale

ABV 4.0%

Brewed with extra pale Maris Otter and hopped with Centennial and Citra producing gentle tropical and citrus flavours with firm bitterness, yielding to sweet malt. Sunshine in a glass!

Hobnail

English Bitter

ABV 4.1%

Copper coloured with fruity caramel flavours coming from the combination of Crystal malts with English and European hops. Bittersweet finish.

Iceni Queenie

Golden Ale

ABV 4.1%

Classic English Golden Ale brewed only with Boadicea hops giving a gentle fruitiness with a slightly spicy finish making it extremely drinkable!

Little Door

Traditional English Bitter

ABV 4.2%

Traditional brew with moderate bitterness and flavour balanced between caramel malt and English Fuggles hops.

Golden Ticket

English Pale Ale

ABV 4.2%

Crisp traditional English Pale Ale delivering lots of traditional hop flavours whilst still retaining the malt character. Brewed with Maris Otter malt and plenty of Challenger and Goldings hops. Assertive bitter finish.

Light Load

Session IPA

ABV 4.2%

Wrong Track’s ‘little brother’. Same flavours but with a slightly lighter drier character; still with a bit more malt flavour than ordinarily found in modern IPA’s, although a good deal less alcohol.

All Change

Single Hop Pale Ale

ABV 4.3%

Ever changing single hop brew. This time with Hallertau Hersbrucker, a traditional German hop ordinarily used in Lager production. The flavour is light and floral with moderate to firm bitterness and pleasant sweetness from the malt making for a balanced drinking experience.

Pedlars Gold

Golden Ale

ABV 4.3%

Easy drinking Golden Ale finished with Citra and Mosaic hops to produce a gentle fruity finish.

Prime Mover

Extra Pale Ale

ABV 4.5%

Brewed with extra pale Maris Otter and hopped with Simcoe giving predominately earthy and fruity characteristics that transfer through into the flavour and aroma. Simcoe also brings notes of apricot, berry, citrus and passionfruit. Dry hopped with Amarillo and Cascade bringing a blend of citrus and tropical aromas.

Dirty Diesel

Sweet Stout

ABV 4.6%

Full flavoured Sweet Stout punching well above its alcoholic weight. Big hits of dried fruits, red berries, chocolate and coffee. Contains Lactose

M'Bewty

Dark Brown Ale

ABV 5.0%

Dark Brown Ale with pleasing chocolate and toffee flavours. Great to enjoy on its own or with chocolate cake/sticky toffee pudding/vanilla ice cream….

Big Door

Traditional ESB

ABV 5.0%

Traditional brew with moderate bitterness and flavour balanced between caramel malt and English Fuggles hops.

Wrong Track

India Pale Ale

ABV 5.6%

Balanced beer with a greater level of malt character than the average modern IPA. Sweet toffee malt to compliment the usual bitter hoppy and aromatic finish coming from Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic and Victoria Secret.

Special/Seasonal Beers

Summer Storm

Mild Ale

ABV 3.6%

Light and easy to drink traditional style Mild with lots of flavour from Crystal and roast malts. Balanced refreshing finish which, along with the lower alcohol content, makes this a great summer session beer.

Curious Weasel

Special Bitter

ABV 4.5%

Copper coloured with lots of flavour from both malt and hops, plus a secret ingredient giving a little peppery bite to the finish. Endlessly drinkable as proper Bitter should be!

Polar Express

Stout

ABV 4.6%

Full flavoured Sweet Stout punching well above its alcoholic weight. Carafa and Chocolate malts provide the roasted coffee and chocolate flavours, with flaked oats and unfermentable sugars added to provide body, mouth feel and a touch of sweetness.

Ghost Train

ABV 5.6%

Our 5% Brown Ale, M’Bewty, blended with Spiced Rum. The Rum enhances the caramel/toffee flavours while adding a very subtle hint of spice. Pour me another….

No Pasarán

Revolutionary Strong Ale

ABV 8.4%

Russet coloured Ale dominated by Malt and toffee flavours. Bittersweet finish. Brewed to savour
